Job Description
An SAP Project Manager job has arisen for a seasoned SAP Project Manager with a history of successful S4 implementations. As an experienced SAP project manager, you should have a knack for building solutions and driving transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a complex and large-scale modernization project. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design : Complete the Solution Design of the SAP solution, including interim solution states based on planned releases. Build and Configuration : Plan and complete the build and configuration of the SAP solution, including WRICEF items and integration (system interfaces). Security Roles Redesign : Plan and complete the redesign and build of SAP Security roles to align with industry best practices. Data Migration : Support planning and execution of data migration activities, including data preparation and data cleansing tasks. Testing and Acceptance : Support planning and execution of system integration testing and user acceptance testing, including defect triage and resolution. Cutover Planning : Support planning and execution of cutover rehearsals and actual production cutover. Team Management: Lead internal project resources (architects, business SMEs, functional consultants, etc.) to support the delivery of the SAP solution. Develop and maintain effective engagement with key stakeholders to ensure support and resolve complex issues. Coordinate involvement of third-party vendors and external resources as required. Track and control variations in scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and other factors impacting SAP solution delivery. Key Skills and Experience: 10+ years of SAP Project Management experience. Proven experience in SAP migrations to S/4HANA, preferably in the finance area. Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders from business and technical areas. Experience managing project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and actions in a complex environment. Expertise in planning and delivering SAP solutions, including leading system integrators and other third-party vendors. Deliverables: Design : Manage completion of the overall solution design, including interim states across multiple releases. Build : Oversee SAP build/configuration activities, including completion of approved WRICEFs, redesigned SAP Security roles, and system integration components. Test : Support planning and execution of system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Training : Support planning and execution of end-user and IT team training. Deploy : Support planning and execution of cutover dress rehearsals, production cutover events, hypercare periods, and transition to support activities.
