SAP Security Lead - Financial Business Systems Education (Organisation site )Financial Services Branch - Finance, Procurement and Facilities Division We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Lead to join our SAP Technical team. This key position will lead the SAP Security team, driving security initiatives to ensure secure and compliant system access to SAP across the department. This is an exciting and dynamic work phase to join the department with new technology initiatives being undertaken, and this position will become a part of that journey. The SAP Security Lead will provide technical guidance to other team members and deliver ongoing security support for ECC6, BI, PI, Portal, Fiori, Solman, and cloud applications while helping to plan security requirements for conversion to S/4 Hana. Your Role: You will be working within the Financial Business Systems (FBS) team which provides management and support for the department's SAP ERP 6.0 system. Components used include ECC (FICO, AA, IM, PS, MM, and PM), BW, PI, Netweaver Portal, Gateway, Fiori, SAPUI5, and Solution Manager. As the SAP Security Lead, you will: Lead the SAP Security team and provide technical guidance to other team members. Maintain and provide appropriately controlled SAP application-level access in support of SAP business processes. Maintain and deploy technologies within the SAP Security ecosystem enabling automation of operational security functions, and support the following functions: Design, build, and maintain SAP roles across ECC, BI, PI, Portal, Fiori, Solman, and cloud applications. Maintain and administer the DoE SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) module and associated activities. Regularly monitor alerts, assist with issues, and provide ongoing operational support of SAP Central User Administration, Single Sign-On, and SAP Governance Risk and Compliance Access Control components. Design and maintain secure architectures for cloud applications including BTP User and Role Administration. The SAP Security Lead reports to the SAP Technical Manager, Financial Business Systems, Financial Services, Finance, Procurement, and Facilities Division. Responsibilities include: Maintain the SAP security framework and security methodology for SAP Business Suite, NetWeaver, and Solution Manager System. Build and maintain SAP roles for Netweaver Portal, ECC, Fiori, and Business Intelligence (BI), PI, and BTP. Administer and maintain the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) module including Emergency Access Management, Access Rule Management, designing, running, interpreting, and disseminating the regular and custom reports in GRC, rule set updates, and management of segregation of duties. Maintain SAP GRC security tools (including Access controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD) reporting, Superuser management). Assist in planning, designing, and delivery of security upgrades to future SAP technologies including S/4 Hana, SAP Access Control, and cloud-based SAP applications. Provide guidance, input, and feedback on security decisions regarding the SAP infrastructure and architecture. About You: You will have a minimum of 8 years' proven experience in an SAP security role either in implementation or maintenance projects including some project/team lead experience. Seeking a leader with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and projects concurrently. An advocate for SAP best practices and business process optimization and improvement to support the business. Participate in learning and upskilling to newer SAP technologies to enable efficient security support by the team in a dynamic SAP technical space.
