What you'll do: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Contract Adviser to join the Customer Information Security Advisers (CISA) APJ & Greater China regional team. In this role, you will build and maintain customer trust in SAP by reviewing, advising on, and explaining SAP’s contractual and other commitments regarding security and compliance topics. You will work closely with teams from the Customer Success organization (including Cybersecurity Hub), Legal, SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance (SGSC), as well as leaders from different Lines of Business and Corporate Functions to establish trust with prospects and customers. Your team will act as the Center of Excellence (CoE) for the interaction with and enablement of the Customer Success organization as well as directly participating in contract discussions on security and compliance topics.You will also help identify any regional security and compliance patterns, threats, and opportunities and provide feedback to internal stakeholders to build security and compliance into SAP solutions and processes. This ensures that SAP solutions and processes are compliant by design and by default.You will develop and maintain a solid knowledge base in regional security and compliance topics, including data protection and industry-specific compliance obligations, to support customer queries and contract negotiations.Additionally, you will support the security and compliance governance efforts for the region, including reporting on customer commitments made, the status of identified KPIs, and (where appropriate) highlighting risks to senior management.You may also provide content support for the preparation of executive events and the delivery of presentations to larger audiences both online and onsite. What you bring: Deep experience in contract negotiations for enterprise Cloud Services, in a fast-paced, complex environment that involved multiple stakeholders. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, concepts, standards, and best practices, particularly relating to enterprise Cloud Services. Solid knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy-related legislation and industry standards in the Asia Pacific region, particularly in financial, critical infrastructure, public sector, and other regulated industries. General knowledge of technology of SAP Cloud solution offerings. General knowledge of security certifications and audits (e.g., ISO27001, SOC 2). Experience in delivering security compliance projects with successful outcomes would be viewed favorably. Strong communication and presentation skills in English, ability to negotiate with customers; fluency in a local language (other than English) would be beneficial. Self-starter, motivated, organized, with attention to detail; demonstrated ability to deliver positive outcomes under pressure, results-oriented. 3-5 years’ experience in a sales support role, preferably in the areas of customer contract negotiations, cybersecurity, data protection, security attestations/certifications, and/or compliance with laws, regulations, or standards applicable to enterprise Cloud Services. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Law, Information Security, or related discipline preferred; industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, IAPP CIPPA/CIPPE/CIPT are a plus.
