The Role: This is an exciting role within HCL’s emerging Managed Technology Services team. This group is the focused SAP Consulting Services arm which supports SAP services across multiple industries. This role is externally focused on delivering consulting services to our broad customer base. This role requires travel to interstate. The Main Responsibilities The Warehouse Management Lead Technology Consultant will need to have a broad understanding of the warehousing processes and have demonstrated end-customer implementation experience in designing & configuring WM in ECC WM, S/4HANA environment. This person will be expected to have strong integration knowledge with other related SAP modules - MM, SD, LE, PP and QM. The ideal candidate requires experience interfacing WM with external custom solutions and 3rd party packages. Qualifications: 7-12 years of relevant functional experience in warehouse management with a minimum of 5-8 full end to end WM warehouse implementations. Experience working as a WM Team Member. Hands on experience in configuring WM in addition to overall solution design. Experience in designing simple & complex inbound receipt processes with Putaway strategies. Good knowledge of complex outbound processes including Stock Removal Strategies, Handling Units, Picking, Staging, and Loading. Experience with RF / Mobile Data menu, Queues, and Picking Pattern configuration. Have designed outbound processes for parcel shipping, LTL and FTL shipping. Expert in WM Handling Unit Management, Search Strategies, Cycle Counts, Posting Changes, Serialization and, Batch Management. Experience in designing custom RF transactions and label printing. Experience in integrating with other SAP modules - QM, TM, PP, and 3rd party Warehouse systems. Knowledge of new WM features in S/4HANA and latest Fiori tiles available. Strong knowledge and experience with WM related master data loading and conversions. Experience in custom solution design that extends the best practice to fit the business requirement. Should be able to lead efforts, with minimal supervision, involving relevant Business/Process/IT teams, 3rd party resources and external trading partners. What We Look for in a Candidate: This person needs to possess soft skills to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of the organization, while driving the WM team to deliver and meet the project timelines. The ideal candidate also needs in depth knowledge of Best Practices and design experience with the processes, using them in their previous implementations.
