Add expected salary to your profile for insights Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border. This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. The Role: The SCADA Program Engineer will support the commissioning teams on Project Energy Connect, focusing on SCADA systems. You will bring expertise in computer systems, software development, and SCADA components like servers, PLCs, and communication gateways, ensuring successful system integration and operation. Primary Accountabilities: Coordinate with project teams the contract requirements, drawings, specifications, work program and special requirements relating to commissioning issues Apply electrical software skills for SCADA for the design and construction of substations Site inspections to ensure that plant equipment and services are installed in accordance with Elecnor requirements as indicated on drawings, instructions and installation manuals Assist with quality control to ensure mechanical and electrical installations conform to the overall design specifications Support quality control to ensure mechanical and electrical installations are fully aligned with the overall design specifications Manage and coordinate commissioning staff on-site, ensuring construction and commissioning activities are scheduled to meet project deadlines Maintain a commissioning program to support timely project delivery Prepare commissioning plans, ITPs, and check sheets to effectively plan and document commissioning activities for the project Prepare a commissioning program outlining all activities and required resources to ensure successful completion within the project timeline Coordinate with the PM/Project Coordinator to secure necessary resources in a timely and cost-effective manner Liaise with Project Design Engineers to resolve any identified technical deficiencies in the project design Maintain records of daily work activities, non-conformances, as-built drawings, work progress, and other administrative records Skills & Experience: Experience as a SCADA Program Engineer Degree in Engineering Driver’s License We’re building a diverse workforce.
