Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator specializing in SCCM and Endpoint Management to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level endpoint management solutions while ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency. You will play a key role in managing and automating IT processes, software deployments, patch management, and system monitoring to meet organizational needs. This is a 6-month contract role , requiring onsite reporting for the first 3 months, transitioning to a hybrid model thereafter. Key Responsibilities SCCM Administration: Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft SCCM infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Manage SCCM components such as Distribution Points, Management Points, and reporting services. Perform software deployments, OS imaging, patch management, and endpoint monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve SCCM-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management: Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint deployment and updates. Implement policies for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). Streamline and automate endpoint provisioning, updates, and compliance. Active Directory Administration: Manage Group Policies, user accounts, security groups, and domain controllers. Monitor and maintain Active Directory health and perform schema updates as necessary. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of SCCM, Intune, and AD tasks. Improve operational efficiency by automating repetitive processes. Server and Network Infrastructure: Ensure integration and compatibility of SCCM/Intune with Windows Server, SQL, and network infrastructure. Collaborate with the network and security teams to ensure endpoint security and performance. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes. Generate custom reports from SCCM and Intune to provide actionable insights. IT Service Management: Leverage ITSM tools to track and manage service requests, incidents, and changes. Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of hands-on experience in SCCM administration and endpoint management. Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain controllers. Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for MDM/MAM and endpoint compliance. Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, and networking fundamentals. Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong documentation abilities. Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and understanding of ITIL processes. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications, such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager certification. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Office 365 integration. Experience with other automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Knowledge of security best practices for endpoint management and device compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
