THE ROLE The SDA Tenancy Support Officer provides tenancy administration and engagement support to residents and their supports for the North-West division. Working in the Tenancy Services Team, the role is responsible for engaging internally and externally to ensure that residents' accounts are up to date, home visits are organized and conducted, and general inquiries are responded to promptly and managed well. The SDA Tenancy Support Officer will manage general inquiries, prepare documentation to commence and end tenancies, monitor and follow up on rent payments and other revenue issues (i.e., scheduling payments and refunds, arranging repayment plans, managing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding issues, and supporting the team to prepare and process notices required under the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA). The SDA Tenancy Support Officer will provide engagement, logistic, and administrative support to enable home visits, online and telephone meetings with residents and their supports. The SDA Tenancy Support Officer will also conduct home visits. The SDA Tenancy Support Officer will ensure that their work is accurate and compliant with legislative requirements, in particular the RTA and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Accountabilities Include Maintain effective working relationships, liaise efficiently and professionally with all levels of staff in relation to meeting residents' needs. Maintain SDA tenancy data integrity and ensure that frequent resident moves are captured within HiiP and other relevant data systems. Assist direct line manager and colleagues with general administrative tasks relating to the implementation of SDA residency and Service agreement, including preparation of relevant information for residents and their support network and data and document entry into HiiP.
