SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE SOLUTIONS! A phenomenal opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a revolutionary business! With a vision to change the world for the better, my client provides innovative and sustainable agricultural products. This role will see you managing distributor and key customer relationships in line with long-term strategic goals; identifying and converting new business opportunities, negotiating and concluding profitable business arrangements and improving overall market position to achieve strong financial growth. As the BDM you will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. You will be required to call on clients, and often make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict your clients’ future needs. Generous remuneration; base salary + super + bonus 1% of sales revenue!!! OTE $230K+ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: New Business Development (60 - 80 %) Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Research and build relationships with new clients. Plan approaches and pitches. Work with internal colleagues to develop proposals which speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. Client Management (15 - 25 %) Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships and drive profitable revenue growth. Set up meetings between client decision makers and the company’s leaders to enhance the connection between the company and the client. Strategy and Product Development (5 - 10 %) Participate in pricing the solution/service. Strategic guidance into expansion of other crops and regions. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures. Develop the brand and image. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Administration and Reporting (10 - 15 %) Submit accurate regular and special reports on time and to the required format and standard. REQUIREMENTS: Relevant agriculture industry experience and connections; Beef Production, Animal Solutions, Plant & Cropping and/or Environmental & Waste. Tertiary qualification in science, environmental engineering or similar, highly regarded - not essential. Demonstrated success in a BDM role. Ability to join on a permanent basis with no visa requirements.
