Position Summary: Reporting to the Sales Director, the SMB Sales Representative will play a crucial role driving revenue growth through the sale of InEight software and services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This role will primarily focus on engaging with clients through outbound phone calls, emails, and other lead generation activities including responding to inbound inquiries within an assigned territory. This role will work diligently with prospective clients to understand their unique needs and demonstrate how InEight solutions can drive value for clients. Through the successful acquisition, development and retention of target accounts, you will directly contribute to the overall growth of the APJ region by exceeding contract value targets and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. Our highly attractive and uncapped commission structure is designed to reward high performance, and you will be provided high levels of autonomy coupled with cross-functional support to deliver quality outcomes. *This is a remote position and candidates can be based anywhere in Australia. Key Responsibilities: Initiate outbound communication with potential clients via various methods (warm leads, cold calls, emails, social media etc.) to uncover challenges and pain points within the assigned territory. Conduct engaging product presentations in conjunction with solution engineers to showcase the features and value of the InEight solution. Develop and utilise effective selling techniques to articulate the benefits of InEight products and services, and effectively position them against competitive offerings to maximise opportunities for success. Develop and articulate a deep understanding of the InEight platform and associated professional services including pricing negotiations. Independently manage a book of business, ensuring the successful acquisition, development and retention of clients to meet and exceed assigned sales targets. Update and maintain the CRM system (SalesForce) to accurately track leads, opportunities and customer interactions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Establish networks with relevant industry groups and bodies, and attend conferences and events where appropriate to effectively position the InEight brand with prospective clients. Stay updated with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to effectively position yourself for success. Work closely with the broader Sales and Marketing team, as well as other cross-functional departments, to drive sales and contribute to organisational revenue targets. Skills and Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to key decision-makers. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle shifting priorities and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. Excellent customer focus, strong networking/relationships skills and ability to consistently meet the needs of clients and InEight. Proactive and goal-oriented with excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence others within other teams/departments. Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative environments across cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business or an equivalent field is considered advantageous. 3+ years of previous experience in Inside Sales and/or Outbound Sales role. Prior experience in a SaaS-based software environment is essential. Previous experience working with construction software preferable, but not essential. Advanced proficiency in CRM tools (SalesForce preferred) and other sales enablement technologies (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
