About the role We are seeking an experienced SMSF Senior Accountant / Manager to join our team at Level One Business & Financial Advisers in Wollongong, NSW. This is a part-time position that will see you providing high-quality financial and accounting services to our clients with self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). What you'll be doing Provide strategic advice and comprehensive accounting services to SMSF clients Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reporting for SMSFs Conduct SMSF audits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations Collaborate with financial advisers to deliver integrated advice to SMSF trustees Stay up-to-date with changes in SMSF legislation and communicate these to clients Mentor and develop more junior members of the SMSF accounting team What we're looking for 8+ years of experience in SMSF accounting and advisory services Strong technical knowledge of superannuation and taxation legislation Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a portfolio of SMSF clients CA or CPA qualified with a good understanding of the accounting industry Experience in leading and mentoring a team of SMSF accountants What we offer At Level One Business & Financial Advisers, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment.
