SUPERVISOR / SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER / SENIOR PRACTITIONER / SENIOR CASE MANAGER - POOL Reference 8SDD33F5 External Vacancy – Open to Everyone Division: Department for Child Protection Location: Far North Far West - Ceduna, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie and Whyalla Salary Range: $104,180-$111,746 Classification: AHP3 Engagement Type: Term Closing Date: 06 Feb 2026 11:00 PM Role Highlights AHP3 ($104,180 - $111,746 p.a. + 11.5% Super) / PO3 ($101,285 - $107,078 p.a. + 11.5% Super) AHP2 ($88,255 - $102,240 p.a. + 11.5% Super) / PO2 ($88,255 - $97,667 p.a. + 11.5% Super) The Far North Far West Directorate within the Department for Child Protection is seeking experienced practitioners to join their recruitment pool . This is a fantastic opportunity to experience living and working in a regional location. There are vacancies for the following roles: Senior Social Worker / Senior Case Manager Depending on the role, office and location, you may be eligible for employee incentives such as: Government housing and assistance Support to help you settle into the region and the role Fly in fly out/drive in drive out (roster varies per classification) This opportunity will expose you to regional and remote service delivery, as well as enhance your skills in working with Aboriginal children and families. Special Conditions Essential Qualifications: AHP: A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker. PO: Appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field.
