Busy Bees Australia is looking for a passionate and dedicated Risk and Compliance Business Partner - Child Safeguarding to partner with the Area Manager and lead efforts in ensuring our organisation remains a child-safe environment, delivering high-quality services to those we support. In this key role, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement through reflective practices, learning frameworks, and trauma-informed approaches. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide guidance on risk management, incident reporting, and child safety investigations. You will collaborate with teams and leadership across Busy Bees Australia to build the systems, processes, and culture that ensure the long-term health and success of the organisation. This is a 3-6 month contract position, based in the ACT, this role will be working hand in hand in services across the network in our ACT region. What You’ll Be Doing: Quality Improvement & Compliance: Oversee the implementation and ongoing maintenance of quality improvement systems related to child safeguarding, trauma-informed practices, and risk management across Busy Bees Australia . Analyse data to identify systemic issues and best practices, using insights to drive improvements that reduce risk to children. Ensure that Busy Bees Australia complies with all regulatory reporting requirements related to serious incidents and legislative obligations. Child Safety & Investigations: Provide guidance and coaching on child wellbeing, championing a child-safe culture throughout the organisation. Lead the response to serious child safety incidents, including those that require reporting to regulatory bodies such as Reportable Conduct matters and the Department of Education. Conduct internal investigations and reviews in line with procedural fairness principles and ensuring child inclusion in all processes. Ensure the child’s voice is considered in every matter related to child safety. About You: Must have proven experience at leading teams to achieve meeting and exceeding theme rating outcomes Must have experience in operational management of a service or overseeing a region or service managers At least 5 years of professional experience, with relevant qualifications for the role. Strong expertise in risk assessment and mitigation, particularly in child safety and wellbeing. Proven experience in managing quality assurance programs, preferably within the community services or education sectors. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise information from various sources and translate it into actionable improvements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
