Safety, People & Culture Business Partner This boutique social purpose organisation focuses on early intervention, out-of-home care, and NDIS support. They seek a dedicated People & Culture Business Partner to join their team. This newly created role is the first point of contact for leaders and staff seeking HR and WHS support. You'll develop and maintain a high-performing culture, ensure compliance, and drive organizational success through its people. About the Role: Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to address organizational needs in safety, people, and culture, guiding the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems. Provide comprehensive HR and WHS support, focusing on coaching leaders and staying updated on legislative changes to ensure compliance. Manage the recruitment process, from attracting top candidates to conducting interviews and preparing employment contracts, while maintaining employee records and privacy compliance. Monitor and ensure probity compliance and accreditation, addressing HR or WHS issues that pose risks to employees, contractors, or volunteers. Serve as a specialist resource on workers' compensation, manage work cover claims, and support return-to-work plans. Advise managers on performance management, handling complaints and grievances empathetically for fair resolutions. About You: Tertiary qualification in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field with demonstrated HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle. Excellent organisational, leadership, and management skills, with the capacity to translate strategies into operational activities. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and awards, ideally the SCHADS Award, providing clear and accurate advice. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear and focused positions to diverse audiences. Approachable and engaging style that builds trusting relationships internally and externally. Experience in a similar role within a Not for Profit/Non-Government Organisation or applied understanding of the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award is highly desirable.
