Job Description As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at NCS, you’ll play a crucial role in driving AWS-based sales opportunities, helping us scale our cloud services business. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and nurturing early-stage leads, transforming them into high-value sales opportunities across Professional Services (ProServe), AWS consumption/resell, and managed services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for converting leads into qualified sales appointments for our Markets teams nationwide. You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to fuel new business growth and expand our footprint in the AWS ecosystem. Your proactive efforts will directly contribute to our ambitious growth targets and revenue goals. Managing and tracking opportunities in the AWS Partner Portal will be a key aspect of your role. You’ll ensure that our business is accurately represented—an essential factor in maintaining our AWS Partner credentials and maximizing AWS-provided funding opportunities. Qualifications A strong background in Sales Prospecting. Proven experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation—ideally within the cloud or technology sector. A passion for AWS and cloud-based solutions, with the ability to understand and communicate their value. Strong organisational skills to track, manage, and optimise sales opportunities. Proactive and strategic mindset, focused on outcomes and business growth. Experience selling products, solutions and services in cloud, digital transformation, application modernisation, data and AI. A consultative approach with the ability to have value-led conversations. The ability to negotiate and close deals as well as grow existing accounts. Strong sales, commercial and financial acumen.
