This 6-month internship opportunity will provide opportunities to grow technically, professionally, and personally. The successful applicant will be a key technical member of the commercial team evaluating and executing new massive Tesla Energy Storage Product sales. This role will provide you the opportunity to participate in the sale of massive energy storage systems, create tools, refine processes, and accelerate and scale the Utility Energy Business. The Sales Engineering team provides a unique opportunity and exposure to business development at massive scale and the engineering which supports some of the largest renewable energy storage projects in the world. You must have a genuine passion for engineering products that fundamentally change the world’s energy infrastructure and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a 6-month full-time position, based in Melbourne. What You’ll Do Build, test and scale tools to accelerate the sale and deployment of utility energy storage projects. Coordinate your own projects across engineering and business functions. Work closely with the team to develop and apply storage application modelling and analysis. Work with the Sales Engineering team to identify the best commercial and technical fit of Tesla’s technology to support the development of business cases for projects. Analyse existing processes, identify and solve for inefficiencies. What You’ll Bring Graduate or student of an engineering degree. Proven experience in software development to solve complex problems. Ability to break down complex engineering ideas. Ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
