About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Sales and Events Executive with the passion and ability to create memorable experiences for our customers and provide sales and operational support to the greater Sales & Events team. The successful candidate will oversee the events spaces for our Sydney CBD hospitality venues working alongside the events coordinators to drive both inbound and outbound sales opportunities. The role will involve meeting with clients, quoting business opportunities, seeking new leads and improving processes in the events space to maximise revenue. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading Sales & Events teams and have the ability to drive corporate and social sales in a variety of assets. This is a great opportunity for someone confident with sales and who has a passion for coordinating events to lead an amazing team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and market event services. Facilitate inbound and outbound sales efforts to generate new revenue opportunities. Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and expectations. Prepare detailed functions packs, event and floor plans, timelines, and menus to ensure successful execution. Motivate and lead the events team to create a memorable experience for all customers. Communicate effectively with venue management teams. Ensure end-to-end running of events with Events Coordinators. Maintain accurate records of each event, including client preferences, contracts, and correspondence. Maintain post-event reports and analysis to improve future event planning. About You: Passionate about creating amazing social, corporate, and special events! Minimum of at least 5 years experience in the sales & events space. Previous experience managing sales & events teams in a corporate environment. Enjoy working to high standards in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised with the ability to supervise, support and assist in operations. Great time management and communication skills. Problem-solving skills and the ability to find the yes! Previous experience using IVVY platform strongly preferred.
