Sales Executive – FSG National This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career in the professional/ financial lines space. In this varied and fast-paced role you will be tasked with developing and growing new business opportunities across financial lines. You will be joining Aon’s Financial Services Group (FSG) National team, who specialise in the broking strategy and placement of all financial lines business across Aon’s Mid-Market Private and Listed Clients. You will be responsible for: Lead engagement with potential clients through networking, referrals, pro-active marketing, presentations, cold-calling etc. Build and grow an active sales pipeline of new opportunities. Supporting the existing financial lines team with sales activity within the financial institutions, professions and mid market (National) client groups. Assist in achieving new business budgets and performance benchmarks. Work closely with the client leadership team to actively pursue new leads and opportunities. Update and maintain the key requirements of a CRM sales pipeline database. Engaged in all forms of communications and discussions on pipeline opportunities at both a State and National level. Assist the Bid Management team on developing tender responses. Skills and experience that will lead to success To be successful in this role you will have proven experience and success in business development or sales management. Ideally you will have gained this experience in Professional Services or Financial Services firm. You will be a creative, engaged and solutions focused thinker, with a passion to take ownership and be proactive in client generation. Key attributes include: Good background/familiarity with financial lines broking and or insurance. Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with exceptional communication abilities. Highly organised with the ability to work independently and with a broader team. A high degree of resilience and an outcome focused approach. Highly self-motivated with an ability to ‘think outside of the box’. Proven experience presenting and influencing to a broad audience.
