Overview Reporting to the Director Aerospace & Defense Sales, you will manage a partial Sales territory within Middle East and Africa, for managing customer relationships, leading technical discussions and growing Defense and Aviation sales with current and new accounts. This includes our commercial products for existing applications as well as products and solutions for new applications to be introduced. The Location: This position is based in U.A.E. Responsibilities As Sales Manager – Aerospace & Defense you will: Promote NovAtel’s product and solutions to Defense and Aviation accounts Find new product sales opportunities and close deals Coordinate between customer project teams for current and future contracts. Provide sales development plans for defined key accounts Liaise with the customer’s engineering group and internal engineering and marketing groups to translate technical requirements for products and technical solutions Participate in tradeshows relevant to Aviation and Defense markets Serve as the primary point of contact with the customers’ engineering and purchasing departments to respond to technical and commercial requests and troubleshoot pre-sales technical issues Develop and maintain industry contacts and provide industry and market knowledge to internal teams Maintain CRM systems with defined customer and opportunity data, reporting frequently Qualifications Must-Have : 3+ years of experience in a technical sales role within the Defense and Aviation industry Experience working in the GNSS industry and GNSS technology experience International sales experience in Europe, Middle East, and Africa preferred. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding established sales targets A solid understanding of requirements and procurement process of customers in Aviation and Defense Ability to travel internationally more than 35% of the time Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering, Electronics, GNSS, Geomatics, or similar. Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical presentations Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce Key Success Factors: Ability to understand and convert customer needs into sales opportunities Goal oriented and results driven Self-driven team player with the ability to work unsupervised Known for providing exceptional customer service Proven problem-solving skills High attention to detail and highly organized Not sure if you meet all the qualifications for this role?
