ABOUT THE ROLE: The primary purpose of the role is to: Generate income opportunities for Supercars through key revenue pillars of the sport including: Series (Championship), Event (Supercars Promoted Events), Digital , Bathurst 12 hour and Category rights. Identify new opportunities for the sport that can supplement existing revenue opportunities of the business, while building strong multi-tiered relationships for the sport. Source new partnerships by being active in market engaging Brands and Agencies about the Supercars community and how a partnership with Sport can effectively deliver against their respective objectives. Layered with this, utilise our research tools for specific category and brand insights. Develop and deliver a range of bespoke partnership solutions that may include a range of key assets from the sport. Whilst this role will be focused on partnership solutions it may require from time to time to be focused on filling the event gaps in revenue from a signage, activations, ideas and hospitality perspective. Negotiate commercial terms and working through the contractual process with Supercars Legal function. Support the Head of Sales with building partnership proposals and growing a sponsorship pipeline. Maintain a strong working dynamic with partners and supporting the Partnerships Team with the delivery of contractual benefits KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: In conjunction with the GM Commercial and Head of Sales, develop integrated partner sales plans for the season including prospecting strategies and targets. Execute sales plans across the Digital ecosystem to assist with the delivery on agreed budget and new business targets. New client focuses across a broad range of opportunities and deals from $20k to +$1m. Manage all stages of the sales cycle including prospecting, cold calling, proposal development, deal negotiation and contractual process. Manage inbound enquiries alongside developing a significant outbound sales focus by building a targeted list of prospects aligned with Category gaps within each respective property. Drive and create short and long-term term sales opportunities: longer-term being broader Championship sponsorships whilst short-term focus being those that align with individual/multiple Supercars promoted events. Ability to dissect a brand’s business & marketing objectives/challenges and build ROI based tailored solution that utilises a variety of facets of the Supercars business. Attend Supercars Events with prospective clients and agency partners showcasing the sport and Supercars Partnerships program. Execute sales plans across the lines of business to the agreed budget and targets. Maintain relationships with clients that have been brought into the business. Develop strategies to design and deliver value propositions to our commercial partners to ensure Supercars is focussed on delivering the best outcome for the partnership. Seek appropriate partners to secure a range of signage assets at our events including a range of physical and virtual signage.
