What the day will look like This role is responsible for growing the portfolio and driving national growth strategies. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and executing a market leading growth plan Developing and maintaining a growth pipeline and looking strategically at opportunities for the cross-sell of products, services and risk solutions to both existing and potential clients Engaging with potential clients through networking, referrals, pro-active marketing, presentations, cold-calling and any other methods Identifying solutions for our clients to reduce their risk exposure through targeted intervention strategies Active engagement with the Aon colleague network, to identify and foster new prospect opportunities. Skills and experience that will lead to success A creative, solutions-focussed thinker, you are hungry, proactive and ready to take ownership in this key role. To be successful in this role you will have proven leadership experience and success in business development or sales management. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong technical understanding of the Life Insurance and Employee Benefits landscape Having a base line knowledge around Health and Wellbeing would be an advantage A high degree of resilience and an outcome focused approach Highly self-motivated with an ability to ‘think outside of the box’ Proven experience presenting and influencing to a broad audience A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated success in leading a growth strategy A strong network across Human Resources.
