Sales Manager - Ophthalmic Imaging | Sydney If you're looking for a sales role that goes beyond the ordinary, this is your opportunity to make a real impact! We're seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager with a strong industry and/or technical background to join our Sydney-based team. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including ophthalmology practices, hospitals, and research institutions . Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) , providing expert consultation and support for our innovative products. Deliver compelling technical product demonstrations and presentations . Provide exceptional customer service, technical support, and training . Represent Heidelberg Engineering at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events . Act as the subject matter expert for our imaging, PACS, and EMR software implementations . What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree in a clinical or technical field (e.g., orthoptics, optometry, biomedical engineering ), preferred. Experience in optometry, orthoptics, ophthalmology, or a related field is highly desirable. Technical sales experience in the medical device or ophthalmic industry is a plus. Strong IT skills and a digital-first mindset . A hands-on approach—while you don’t need to be an expert technician, mechanical aptitude is a bonus. An independent and proactive sales professional who enjoys engaging with customers in the field, fostering strong relationships, and driving business growth through consultative selling. A resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity , takes initiative to find solutions , and thrives on helping customers overcome challenges .
