About the role: Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales performance, ensuring the effectiveness of employee training, and holding sales teams accountable for predetermined success metrics. This position is pivotal in driving business growth through the development and implementation of sales training, growth initiatives, and advanced sales techniques, enabling teams to maximize revenue potential. Key Responsibilities: Implement an effective and consistent sales process that underpins the activity and productivity for all current and future sales personnel. Attend customer visits with sales representatives to monitor, coach the sales team, and understand the current customer experience. Identify sales training needs. Outcomes from these needs are used to evolve sales training platforms, and manage recurring training sessions. Work with senior managers to establish successful strategies that promote a suite of divisional products for the business. Hold sales team members and associated managers accountable to KPIs and training progress while measuring and managing established team efficiency metrics. Plan and execute detailed sales training videos, documents, guides, and reference material relevant to the growth of the business. About You: Formal qualifications and training, coupled with extensive experience in Sales across diverse industries, with specific skills in coaching and management of sales personnel. Expertise in designing tailored, effective training interventions, capable of assessing, creating, and evaluating training materials. Strong planning and project management skills, with ability to problem solve, negotiate and influence. A strong knowledge and understanding of the organization’s products, services, customers, competitors, and sales techniques and process. Can determine training requirements by studying sales and marketing strategic plans and current sales results. The ability to use initiative, be self-motivated and self-managed within the context of the business. Exceptional customer service skills with a practical approach to providing sales solutions and identifying opportunities.
