Job Title: Sales Professional Location: Nationwide, with travel required to Cylinder Distribution CentresSalary: Competitive + Benefits & Business need vehicleContract Type: Permanent, Full-time Positions Available: 2 roles in the Southwest & Wales 2 roles in the North & Scotland About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Professional to join our team at Calor. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for driving volume and margin growth at our Cylinder Distribution Centres. You will work closely with the operational site lead and the broader cylinder network to convert sales opportunities, manage margins, retain customers, and execute local commercial plans that align with Calor's overarching growth strategy. Your role will be key in protecting and growing the commercial performance and profitability of the CDC sites. You will have growth, margin, and retention targets, all designed to enhance the performance of the centre’s and ensure their success within Calor's direct cylinder business. Key Responsibilities: Deliver growth and retention by setting objectives and achieving targets for CDCs within your area. Utilise systems and technology to maximise commercial performance through CRM, margin management, and lead identification software. Develop and implement strategic business plans to ensure robust retention and growth. Manage and improve CDC gross margin performance with targeted pricing and selectivity. Optimise and manage your CDC customer base, including renegotiations and change of owners. Implement strategies to optimise revenue and margins, including pricing strategies and data-driven campaigns. Ensure adherence to safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture within the cylinder network. Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge: Experience in the LPG, energy, or similar commodity-based sector advantageous. Previous experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment. Strong track record in negotiation, selling, and managing B2B customer relationships. Ability to analyse data, spot trends, and make informed decisions to improve business outcomes. Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to meet business goals. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and financial planning tools. Must hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel to CDC sites as needed.
