An opportunity exists for a Sales Representative at our foodservice branch located in Bibra Lake. About the Role: Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role of Sales Representative for National Accounts is to maintain and build local accounts serviced by the Perth branch in conjunction with our National Account Managers. You will be responsible for developing relationships, supporting customers in managing and developing their business. This position requires a people person willing to go the extra mile with an astute knowledge of our products and services along with a positive attitude towards problem solving and dealing with urgent issues. While experience in sales, food service, or a similar role would be an advantage, opportunity exists for the right candidate to develop with support from our local team along with national account managers. Duties: Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with local customers and sites under a national banner. Represent & promote Bidfood on behalf of the branch and national teams at all times. Deliver excellent customer service with an understanding of the varied requirements of customers while working within frameworks of local operations and national agreements. Plan and implement strategies to reach your sales objectives and budgets. Assist the national accounts team to deliver new products, services, and change. Develop constructive relationships internally with warehouse, purchasing, and distribution teams. Look to continually improve systems and procedures by recommending change. Develop strategies to reduce service and delivery issues. Assist customers with day-to-day functionality of Bidfood accounts including internal processes, reporting, and administration. Conduct regular site visits across your customer base, building a rapport with local owners, chefs, and managers. Key Skills and Experience: Valid driver’s licence. Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality. Enjoy working with people. Professional personal presentation. Able to clearly present product and service information. Able to work as part of a team. Able to work without direct supervision. The ideal applicant must show a desire for achievement and sales improvement, as well as a passion for the industry.
