This is a fantastic opportunity for an SAP SME who is looking for their next challenge and wants to roll up their sleeves to optimise, enhance, streamline, and initiate master data best practices throughout our well-established global manufacturing business. In this critical role, you will support our recent implementation of SAP and be responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate and consistent master data within our SAP System. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy developing/implementing data policies and procedures, providing support to end users to educate and build capability, to ensure our customer information, product details, and other relevant data is accurate, updated, managed, and aligned with organisational standards. Based at our Smithfield manufacturing facility and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer for Vinidex, you will partner with the Data Steward and IT team across all areas of our business including marketing, customer service, production, sales, logistics, operations, dispatch, and external vendors, where your can-do attitude, process improvement mindset, relationship-building skills, and ability to understand complex workflows, business processes, and pricing will be key to bringing the team on the change journey with you! Your day-to-day includes but is not limited to: Manage and implement data governance including centrally creating, monitoring, consolidating, controlling, and updating master data records and processes including distribution. Process requests for creating or modifying master data. Implement data quality checks and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality data and understand data requirements. Integrate data from various sources into the SAP system and define data mapping and transformation rules. Lead change initiatives related to master data management including leading the MDB integration project. Ensure compliance with data policies and standards. About you You will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field and be SAP certified (advantageous). 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a SME Master Data Manager using SAP within a Manufacturing or FMCG industry (Plastics, Building Products, Hardware or FMCG – highly considered). Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office and exceptional proficiency across all SAP modules in implementation, maintenance, and continuous process improvement initiatives (SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG). Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders including internal customers, leadership team, vendors, and customers, to influence and negotiate to get the best outcome. You have a high level of experience in leading project teams, data governance, data quality, and data integration. You are a team player with a collaborative style who is positive, resilient, and wants to work in a team that is supportive, innovative, and challenges the status quo.
