Job Description
SAP Systems Accountant Location: Brisbane CBD Company: Perigon Group Description: This role offers an opportunity to utilise your accounting expertise and business systems knowledge to enhance and optimise financial processes and systems. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Internal Controls, and IT/Digital, taking a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting SAP finance processes while leading continuous improvement initiatives. With a strong operational focus, this position involves providing finance systems support, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and compliance with financial controls, all while collaborating with a wide range of business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain ERP master data, including the Chart of Accounts, cost centres, profit centres, and projects. Identify opportunities to optimise and streamline financial processes and reporting in SAP Public Cloud. Provide functional support and training to end-users, ensuring effective use of SAP Finance processes. Collaborate on system upgrades, maintenance, and process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with other systems. Review, assess, and test impacts of SAP releases, addressing system-related issues in partnership with IT and external providers. Ideal Experience: Proven experience in finance processes, with expertise in configuring SAP S/4 Hana finance modules (e.g., SAP Finance (FI), SAP Controlling (CO), SAP Configuration Management (CM), IM, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)) and understanding integration points with other SAP modules. Minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing SAP Finance modules, including at least two S/4 Hana projects.
