We are seeking an individual with a passion for working with School and Community Stakeholders to improve the education of young people on the Island. In your role you will work closely with the Principal, School and Community Leaders, parents, students and relevant agencies. As part of the Leadership Team, you will develop programs that encourage parents and Community members to play a more active role in the School. You offer advice and work to ensure that the school is responsive to the perspectives and priorities of Community members at both the strategic level and in the day-to-day schooling of our young people. You will also collaborate closely with other School Community Partnership Facilitators working in other Partnership Initiative Schools, and may be required to attend meetings and professional development off-Island as part of your role. About the Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage key relationships to enhance planning and service delivery processes. Proven ability to prioritise, schedule and perform work to meet deadlines, commitments and client service standards. Ability to participate in a work team and to undertake a variety of project activities. Develop and maintain working relationships with local, regional, state, commonwealth and local government officers and local peak bodies to prepare and provide timely information and advice to stakeholders in relation to future planning for the delivery of services in line with government policy. Access and analyse information sources such as demographic data, community data, regional development plans, local government planning documents, recommendations and papers to inform planning and coordination advice and support.
