We are seeking experienced Security Officers who are suitably qualified, self-motivated, and professional to meet our client requirements located at various locations throughout Perth within our Public Transport Authority contract. As a Transperth Security Officer , you must have outstanding personal presentation and customer service skills. The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to: Experience within the Security Services industry Exceptional interpersonal skills Be flexible to work across a rotating roster, 7-day week, 365 days a year (24/7, day and night shifts) A non-judgmental, empathetic approach to Customers Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential) Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go A strong Customer Service focus Observe and monitor individual's behaviour Ability to manage challenging situations in a positive way Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written Exceptional reporting skills A high level of personal presentation and conduct The ability to work in a team The ability to comply with all policies and procedures To be considered, you MUST hold the correct licences/certification: Current and valid WA Security licence Current and valid WA Driver's licence Certificate II in Security Operations Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR Must hold or work towards obtaining Baton, Handcuff, OC and Empty Hand Technique Certification within probationary period Basic Worksite Traffic Management and/or Traffic Controller Certification (preferred but not essential) Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Excellent and proven Computer and Administration Skills Professional Personal Presentation Proven experience in Conflict Resolution Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia Commitment to work day and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts If you think you have what it takes to be a Wilson employee, don't hesitate to apply now.
