A leading technology firm is seeking a Security Operations Manager to take charge of their security operations team. Role Overview: As the Security Operations Manager, you will lead and mentor a growing team, taking responsibility for incident response, threat management, and security operations. This is the perfect opportunity for a senior individual contributor looking to transition into a managerial role, where you will have the chance to shape and refine security practices while working closely with both internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee incident response, digital forensics, and threat/vulnerability management initiatives. Manage security alerts triage, providing guidance and escalation to senior leadership when necessary. Drive threat mitigation efforts and vulnerability remediation strategies. Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of cybersecurity defence architecture. Build relationships with internal and external security testing teams to ensure the highest standards are met. Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of security detection, response controls, and incident management processes. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in cyber security operations, with a focus on threat management, vulnerability management, and incident response. Experience in leading or mentoring teams, even in a non-managerial capacity. Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, and ASD E8. Proactive, with a desire to step into a leadership role and develop a high-performing team. Familiarity with tools such as MS Sentinel, CyberArk, and relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, ISACA). Why Join Us?
