As part of the health team, you’ll focus on staying ahead of trends in the health communications sector, both domestically and overseas, and continuously hone a deep understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape. About the Role As part of your role, you understand the value you bring to our integrated team in driving initiatives forward for clients, patients, and our Ogilvy network. You understand our clients inside and out, as well as the products we offer, and grasp at opportunities to get involved, learn, evolve, and continuously try different things. Whilst we lead with earned creativity, we are equally well-equipped to tackle any challenge at hand through an audience-first, channel-agnostic mindset. You are building your network across Ogilvy Health, and the external environment, and beginning to flex your client counsel - learning the business of consulting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver excellence in client and project management : You are passionate about client service, and all this entails (i.e. WIP reports, keeping timelines updated, coverage and project wrap reports). Support strategy and ideas development : Help the senior account team to develop strategic approaches, and ideas, and build presentations and proposals that will land with impact. Be the face of our team : Provide day-to-day contact with clients and advise them on areas you are developing expertise in. Bring fresh insights and perspectives : Keep across what’s going on in your client’s world and that of their competitors (across media channels, including but not limited to traditional media, political commentary, TikTok, Meta, and beyond). Deliver impactful work : Help to craft, edit and finesse our clients’ stories. Lead media engagement : Take a lead role in devising media strategy, advising your clients on the best approach, and directly engaging media. About You You possess excellent writing skills and a deep understanding of earned media. You have established relations with key health and lifestyle media. You understand the principles of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, and how to counsel clients accordingly. You have strong stakeholder management skills. You have strong attention to detail, thrive on meeting deadlines and establishing efficient processes, and you’re not afraid to get stuck in the admin. You have an enquiring mindset and uncover all sides of the story. You bring empathy and humility to all situations because you are a people person. You appreciate the lighter, funnier moments and do not take yourself too seriously, because you take the work we do seriously. You have sound time management skills and can manage several projects/tasks at one time. You are social media savvy and knowledgeable across a range of digital platforms. You are culturally curious and excited about the impact of creative thinking. You communicate clearly and transparently with your team. Above all, you are a team player.
