We leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! What you’ll do We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. In this role, you will take ownership of building and nurturing direct relationships with Defence organisations while collaborating closely with our product channel partners to drive revenue growth and exceed product targets. Strong knowledge of the unique Defence market and experience working with a range of government and non-government clients is essential. Your success will also depend on your proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors. We are an agile company, keen to respond to customer, technology, and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements, which means we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What you’ll bring Strong demonstrated experience working with Defence customers to find the right solution for their needs, ensuring an excellent customer experience from quoting to ordering. Strong understanding of Account Management techniques and disciplines. Proven track record of responding to customer quote requests with urgency, exceptional attention to detail, and genuine care for our customer needs. Willingness to learn new technology and solutions we provide. Experience with major technology brands and the IT reseller supply process and channel. Ability to absorb, apply, and communicate technical information to a diverse audience. Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Experience in using sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle. Why join us here at Datacom?
