We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Accountant/Business Partner to join our finance team. This is a senior-level position where you will play a key role in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support business decisions and drive the success of the organization. If you are passionate about financial analysis, strategic planning, and improving business performance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Oversee the month-end close process and ensure accuracy and timely completion. Provide financial input and analysis to support decision-making across the division. Compile financial reports for management, highlighting trends and variances. Track project costs (Work in Progress) and departmental expenses. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Develop and manage divisional budgets, including forecasting revenues and expenses. Create and maintain financial models for evaluating business decisions. Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation. Manage a small team handling transactional finance activities (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable). Collaborate with department heads to understand budget/reporting needs. Monitor financial KPIs and provide actionable insights. Drive the automation of financial processes and reporting tools. Review and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks. Contribute to ad hoc improvement projects. Your skills and experience will include: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. CPA or CA qualifications are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior accounting or financial analysis role. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with accounting software and financial systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams across the business. Demonstrated experience in multitasking and prioritising work effectively. Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally.
