Job Description

Our client, a boutique Accounting firm based in Hawthorn, is looking for a Senior Accountant/Junior Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis. This role would see the incumbent working primarily with high net-worth clients and organisations whilst also managing a team of 4 staff. The successful candidate will be comfortable to work in the office 5 days per week and will have the ability to grow and develop into larger scale roles. What’s in it For You? A clear path for career advancement – opportunities for further development and business leadership available A team environment where you will be able to foster relationships and work in collaboration with the directors Regular team building events, staff functions and social functions Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and review Financials and Income Tax Returns of various entities including individuals, partnership, trusts, companies and SMSFs Review the work of team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance Identify, investigate and understand clients’ business and financial goals and propose resolutions for complex accounting issues and improve their business processes. Provide tailored tax advice and solutions to meet clients' unique financial goals Review of ABN Application, GST registration/cancellation, PAYG Withholding registration, PAYG Withholding Variation, PAYG Instalment variation and Income Statements What do You Need? 5 years experience in a Public Practice Experience working with High Net-Worth clients, both individuals and companies Extensive knowledge of Accounting software including but not limited to Xero, FYI and BGL CPA or CA qualifications Experience with SMSF The desire to grow into bigger and better things Why work with KLC?
