Job Description
Our general insurance client is seeking a senior actuarial analyst or actuary with experience in personal lines pricing to join their team. This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney. About the role Performing rate reviews, rate modelling, and portfolio monitoring for assigned lines of business. Assisting with growing the motor insurance business by presenting and making pricing recommendations to local underwriting agencies and reinsurers. Liaising with external stakeholders such as underwriting agencies, brokers, reinsurers, actuarial consultancies, external vendors, and internal functions. About you Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field. 2-5 years of actuarial experience in general insurance and must have local motor insurance pricing experience. Must be pursuing actuarial exams or already an Associate/Fellow of the Australian Actuarial Institute, or other relevant body.
