Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Expression of interest – Senior Advisor – DRFA Change and Reform Multiple temporary opportunities until December 2025 We have an exciting opportunity for internal candidates to express interest in the Senior Advisor role in the DRFA Change and Reform team, within the newly established Funding, Policy, and Reform area. About the team The Funding, Policy and Reform area is responsible for leading the review of the Disaster Assistant Guidelines (DAG) as well as implementation reforms required to address the findings of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Review, including leading and communicating change to strengthen funding administration capability for DAG and DRFA measures within the Reconstruction Authority. About the role We are seeking a Senior Advisor – DRFA Change and Reform to support the development of change frameworks, strategies and documentation, business plans and processes, tools and systems, and communication strategies and plans within the DRFA program. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting and managing change initiatives that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance, while also delivering improved accountability and functionality of the DRFA system in NSW. This role will allow for work across the entire Reconstruction Authority, and other key agencies in NSW government and stakeholders. You will support the design and execution of the required change management frameworks and communication strategies and ensure that the transition approach for projects, programs and operational changes are executed efficiently and effectively. We are looking for a Senior Advisor with: Communication and stakeholder engagement: the ability to engage stakeholders, build relationships and manage resistance to change. Critical thinking: ability to think strategically while also managing the practical, day-to-day aspects of change. Collaboration: experience in building and overcoming barriers to collaboration and adoption and ability to identify opportunities which leverage individual strengths. Initiative and solutions focused: ability to generate new ideas and opportunities to improve systems and customer service needs and requirements. Project Management: experience in project planning and delivery, with a focus on ensuring that change initiatives are executed on time and within scope.
