Senior Advisor, Pipeline and Programs Grade: Clerk Grade 09/10Salary range: $125,693 - $138,510 + superEmployment Type: Ongoing, full-time (35 hours per week).Location: Sydney (McKell) + hybrid working options Let’s talk about the Opportunity. You will play a critical role in leading a small team developing and managing an approach for talent pipeline programs for the Department to attract, source and acquire early-careers talent to meet our current and future workforce needs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Department and across the Sector to create a supportive and enriching environment for our early-career professionals. You will partner with P&C and leadership teams to align our programs with strategic workforce plans. This is a dynamic role managing and enhancing the DCS Graduate program and building new pipeline programs including diversity streams. You will enjoy identifying new and innovative ways to build talent pipelines including employer branding initiatives, campus events/job fairs, and diversity programs. About you Demonstrated experience in leading a team within either Talent Acquisition, Talent Management or HR Demonstrated experience in leading early-careers or related talent pipeline programs Demonstrated experience in developing or enhancing talent pipelines and programs Professional communication skills to deliver information to diverse audiences A passion for empowering early-careers talent and contributing to their professional development In this role you will Plan, develop and manage early career pipeline programs including graduate, traineeship, internship and related diversity recruitment programs aligned to Department priorities and a pipeline of talent from which the Department can draw to meet ongoing and future workforce needs Plan, develop and manage student experience and learning programs to provide students with an understanding of the Department and provide participants with skills and capabilities which enhance their work readiness Develop, monitor and coordinate processes including event coordination, program communications, issue resolution and records maintenance so that all pipeline and program participants are on-boarded and managed effectively Maintain an understanding of the business, its challenges, and objectives and develop strong client and team relationships to ensure that services align with talent and workforce plans. Undertake regular surveys regarding pipeline programs, review and evaluate policies and processes for continuous improvement Work with talent acquisition, data and analytics and the broader P&C team to analyse data and design an effective process to place graduates and pipeline program participants into ongoing roles The DCS Difference DCS is a great place to work, and it’s not just us saying that!
