Organisation: Victorian Health Building Authority Occupation: Projects Reference: VG/1840458 The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. The Opportunity: The Senior Advisor, Project Controls will support the Project Services unit in the VHBA Project Controls Team to develop and implement support and strategies to assist teams engaged in the delivery of a significant program of health infrastructure. Design and implement processes of continuous improvement and innovation of the systems, toolkits and processes that support delivery of our work, as our business and operating models continue to evolve. Preparing and presenting a variety of complex and accurate written materials including presentations, reports, briefs and communications, ensuring materials are high quality and fit for purpose. Proactively building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, develop options, and respond accordingly, ensuring that issues are pro-actively addressed. We are looking for: Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way; clearly understands the target audience and the objectives of the communication; uses audience feedback to refine communication and ensure communications are understood; handles difficult and sensitive communications well. Seeks all relevant information for problem-solving; liaises with stakeholders; analyses issues from different perspectives and draws sound inferences from information available. Identifies the need to change; describes the reasons for the change and the risks of not changing; actively promotes and drives change using broad influencing skills to overcome barriers and gain support.
