Senior Allied Health Professional Fixed-term and Casual Employment Register Location: Australia, Tas Date Posted: Sep 11, 2023 About the Tasmanian State Service The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels. A fixed-term employment register is not a vacancy, and inclusion on a register does not guarantee any offer of employment will be made. The Senior Allied Health Professional Employment Register is established to provide the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled individuals who are able to work at short notice. Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for duties on a fixed-term or casual basis. This Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June 2025 and will be reviewed regularly. Please note that the Register will not preclude other Senior Allied Health Professional positions from being advertised if warranted. Current vacancies are available on the website. Salary: $103,608 to $114,431 per annum. Please note that access to the progression point of Year 5Q salary of $114,431 is subject to the successful completion of a relevant Graduate Diploma. Classification Allied Health Professional Level 3 Award Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022 Duties Provide an efficient and effective allied health service to the patients and clients of the Department of Health at a senior and/or specialist level within the allocated work area(s). Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.
