See yourself in our team Within Financial Services, the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board. The team’s areas of focus include: Investment Reporting & Analysis - supports the Group with the reporting and analysis on our strategic investments portfolio, which is used to ensure strategic decision making and operational excellence. Performance Reporting– performance analysis, monthly management reporting for the Group and Profit Announcement reporting to shareholders. Planning and Forecasting – ownership of the Group’s Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis. Decision Support – strategic projects, insight development and ad-hoc analysis. This role reports to the Senior Manager Investment Reporting and Analysis. Your role is to support the Group CFO, Executive Leadership Team and the Board in making efficient and confident decisions on the investment portfolio and inform them on the effectiveness and efficiency of the portfolio. Some of the key areas you will be providing support include: You will drive the development of analytical infrastructure to assist the Group meet its strategic priorities. You will be a key contributor to the digitisation and optimisation of financial reporting processes to deliver insights that support decision making. Key duties will include: Help drive out productivity improvements across our key reporting processes. Create data visualisations, dashboards and/or reports that provide a unified view across Group Performance Reporting to drive actionable insights for better business outcomes. Developing reporting utilising BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx. Seek to enhance financial reporting analytics. Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive discussion, and deliver value-add analysis of all Group businesses for the Executive Committee and Board. Demonstrable ability in managing and balancing priorities. Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements effectively. Ensure continuity of delivery from automation solutions through a thorough change control process. Build and maintain productive relationships with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders, including Business Unit Finance Teams, Investor Relations, Treasury, Risk Management and Group Strategy. You are confident you can get data into a form that you can work with, whatever format it starts in - whether that's a relational database, text file, or anything else, and can suitably visualise it for others. Knowledge of visualisation best practices for complex data relationships. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Exceptional attention to detail.
