In this Senior Analyst, Business Credit Strategies role, reporting into the Manager Business Credit Strategies, you will: Support the development of credit risk decisioning strategies across origination and customer management for B&PB customers whilst balancing risk and reward. Conduct deep-dives and predictive analytics to provide forward looking insights, early warning indicators and identify emerging risks. Leverage internal bank data, external and alternative data sources to generate deep data-driven portfolio insights and optimise credit strategies. Identify emerging credit risk strategy risks and issues and provide data-based recommendations to drive business outcome and manage risks. Provide data-based recommendations and the “So What” of the work. Present results to a wide range of senior stakeholders across the enterprise for the purpose of securing approvals and initiating implementation. What you will bring to the team: Previous experience in Financial Services/Banking with knowledge of Credit Risk management is preferred. Demonstrated experience in Analytics, Modelling or Business Intelligence is essential, with the ability to extract raw data from large data warehouses and conduct quality analytics and generate actionable insights. Exceptional communications and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships. Ability to present technical concepts, data insights to non-technical senior stakeholders and ability to tell a story. Proficiency in Python/SQL/R is required.
