Senior Analyst, Financial Markets Platform - Maximum Term Employment Contract (to 31 July 2025) Be accountable for the delivery of the Financial Markets workstreams for the implementation of Calypso, a best-in-class tier-1 Financial Markets platform. The Enterprise Programme Management Office (EPMO) team plays a key role in supporting the Financial Markets division, enabling implementation of key initiatives. This role supports the delivery and implementation of the Financial Markets Platform (FMP) - a new treasury, risk management, and trading platform for TCorp (Nasdaq - Calypso). Reporting to the Head of Derivatives Trading & Analytics on a day-to-day basis, the primary purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of the Financial Markets workstreams supporting the FMP project. This will involve engaging actively with a range of internal stakeholders, and drawing on analytical and modelling skills for development and implementation testing to ensure the success of the project. The successful candidate will have a broad skillset including experience ideally with Calypso, or a similar system; extensive financial markets product knowledge; experience in development and support of business-managed IT solutions; spreadsheet risk analysis; and sound knowledge of regulations and market changing practices. Adaptability and teamwork, combined with sound communication skills, are also needed for success in this role. You will be degree qualified in a numerate/financial discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in a financial institution, hedge fund, or corporate treasury. You will have experience working with state-of-the-art treasury, risk management, and trading platforms; extensive knowledge of financial markets – especially fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives; demonstrated experience in development and support of business-managed IT solutions; experience with testing and validating the system with a focus on risk metrics and value at risk. The ability to evidence the testing is critical along with advanced level Python programming and SQL and the ability to extract, analyse and present data for front office reports.
