Opportunity for a senior associate to join our leading property team working on a wide breadth of commercial property transactions. 07th February, 2025 About the team Our national property group is regarded amongst the leading practices across Australia.We have the opportunity for a senior associate to join our Brisbane property team working alongside Darren Anderson. Darren’s practice encompasses a broad range of work including: large scale property and business transactions commercial, industrial and retail leasing liquor licensing and gaming rural acquisitions and disposals. Darren is listed in The Best Lawyers in Australia in the 2022 to 2025 editions for Real Property Law and in the 2023 to 2025 editions for Leasing Law. He is also recognised in the 2021 and 2024 editions of Doyles Guide as a recommended lawyer in Property & Real Estate Law for Queensland. About the role Working closely with partner Darren Anderson, you will join a motivated and supportive commercial property team assisting in large scale commercial property transactions.The work on offer is across a wide spectrum including capital transactions, general property work and leasing for clients across a range of sectors including health, tourism, rural, commercial, industrial and retail.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to further develop your career under a recognised and highly regarded property lawyer who will support you in reaching your professional goals within this area of practice. About you You will be operating at Senior Associate level with experience across a broad range of commercial property transactions including: large scale property and business transactions, comprising due diligence, acquisitions, disposals and financing commercial, industrial and retail leasing structured community title development including mixed use development liquor licensing and gaming rural acquisitions and disposals. The team is seeking someone who has had the opportunity to work directly with clients in managing files and, as such, had the opportunity to build strong client relationships and possess a keen interest to continue with this.In addition to this you will have worked closely with junior lawyers in mentoring and training.
