Charterhouse is working in partnership with a thriving law firm, known for delivering exceptional insurance law practices and outcomes for clients. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Associate to join their collaborative team.The Role Full time permanent Melbourne CBD or Brisbane CBD Flexible start date Responsibilities Play a key role in managing a diverse caseload of insurance customer matters, including plaintiff, defendant and credit hire - all from inception to resolution. Work closely with Partners to help lead and develop junior lawyers. Ensure matters are handled efficiently and in line with client service standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the firm to ensure integrated service delivery. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years’ post-admission experience in insurance law , with exposure to plaintiff, defendant, and credit hire matters . Strong technical expertise and proven litigation skills across a range of insurance disputes. Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers and a genuine interest in people leadership . Commercial acumen and the ability to build strong client relationships. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
