About this role Our Private Business Tax & Advisory (Private Advisory) team is looking for a Senior Associate to join our friendly, supportive Adelaide office. Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. Key responsibilities Enjoying a meritocratic culture and ‘hands-on’ work style, you’ll be involved in a broad range of activities, including: Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients Liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements and assist with tax and accounting advice Monitor and review the work of junior team members and provide development, coaching and mentoring as required Skills and experience You will be a caring, conscientious accounting professional who thrives in a client-facing environment. With well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills, you love to approach problems from different angles and with close attention to detail, in order to find innovative, practical solutions. Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s) Have attained or commenced a CA qualification Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go ‘above and beyond’ to delight your clients Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment If you’re interested in this role but don’t feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
