Senior Aurion Systems Administration Officer THE ROLE: Austrade is seeking experienced Senior Aurion Systems Administration Officer to fill an ongoing vacancy within the Corporate Systems Team. The Corporate Systems Team (CST) are part of the Digital and Technology Division which sits within the Corporate Services Group. CST is responsible for managing and administering key corporate systems associated with payroll/people, finance/procurement/travel, and strategic reporting in a global environment. As part of the Corporate Systems Team, you will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Aurion as well as provide back up support for other Corporate Systems including SAP, TM1 and Cornerstone. You will have experience in systems administration and could interpret and apply a range of legislation, guidelines and policies as they relate to HR processes. DUTIES INCLUDE: As a Senior Aurion Systems Administration Officer, you will: Lead systems administration activities, including user maintenance, environment management, incident resolution, service request management, end-user training, and report/query creation. This involves collaborating with internal teams to align with Austrade’s cloud strategy and cybersecurity framework. Drive continuous improvement in payroll and human resource processes to enhance operational efficiency and align with Austrade’s strategic priorities. Develop, manage, and maintain work instructions to ensure team processes are up-to-date and effective. Provide technical support and ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures across corporate systems. Deliver high-quality customer service to support internal and external users and stakeholders. Contribute to team success by: Establishing clear work systems and processes. Supporting team planning and fostering a positive workplace culture. Engaging in regular feedback and continuous improvement initiatives. KEY CAPABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrated experience in HR systems administration, with a focus on Aurion.• Strong analytical skills to prepare accurate reports and provide detailed advice to stakeholders.• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.• Proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, presentation, and analysis.• Proven ability to manage competing workloads and priorities effectively.• Expertise in recommending and implementing system improvements and enhancements.• Experience in managing upgrades and ensuring compliance with technical change requirements.• Commitment to maintaining robust record-keeping and system access controls.• Ability to develop and deliver training programs for team members.• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.• Experience with Business Process Automation (BPA), workflows, and surveys/forms is preferred but not essential.
