The Senior Azure Data Consultant is responsible for: Architect and implement comprehensive, cutting-edge data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies Provide thought leadership to clients on the Microsoft data ecosystem and strategy Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into innovative technical solutions Participate in workshops and technical deep-dives to uncover opportunities for data-driven transformation Participate in client-facing presentations and proposals, articulating complex technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning Actively participate in the broader data engineering community, representing the company at industry events and fostering relationships with key Microsoft partners Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, incorporating lessons learned from client engagements to enhance service offerings Stay at the forefront of emerging Microsoft technologies, actively experimenting with new features and capabilities Contribute to the development of proprietary accelerators and frameworks At Cognizant, we're committed to your professional growth. Base capability requirements: A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud-based Microsoft data technologies Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud data capabilities such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and other cutting-edge Azure data services. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components and proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using these components. Proven ability to architect data solutions in a consulting or client-facing environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional teams. Experience/Exposure with other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus, enabling multi-cloud strategy development.
