While we’re not searching for a unicorn, we are on the hunt for someone who has meticulous attention to detail and is driven by providing superior client service. This person is driven by excellence and efficiency and constantly strives to do better for their clients. This is a full-time role, with a mix of office (located at the vibrant Norwest Business Park) and WFH arrangements, reporting to the Director of Bookkeeping. Key responsibilities: Managing multiple client portfolios with precision and expertise Performing end-of-month accounting tasks Reviewing P+L and Balance Sheet Reviewing quarterly BAS workpapers Assisting with process improvements and digital system integrations across hospitality, e-commerce, inventory and payroll Driving efficiency and capacity planning, ensuring best practices are a norm across the team Maintaining and updating workflow management system via Xbert Onboarding new clients and contributing to bespoke financial reporting for advisory services Resolving team and client enquiries, providing support and solutions with a mindset of going above and beyond. Assisting the Director with detailed client reporting and strategic advisory. You will have: At least 5 years of experience in a similar senior role in bookkeeping or management Proven ability to manage diverse client portfolios A deep understanding and application of GST rules, small business tax deductions and payroll. A strong grasp of financial regulations, tax, and payroll systems. Experience in month-end accounting tasks and financial statement analysis Ability to deliver bespoke financial reports and advisory services Hawk-eyed attention to detail A proactive approach to problem-solving and technology implementation.
