Senior Business Analyst – Higher Education Seeking a results-driven Senior Business Analyst with expertise in education and process automation? Join a prestigious Australian university to lead a transformative initiative that automates results processing, significantly reducing risks and alleviating operational fatigue. THE ROLE: We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to spearhead the automation of results management processes, reducing risks associated with aging systems and manual data handling errors while addressing staff fatigue caused by inefficient workflows. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to design and implement streamlined, automated solutions. Replace manual results processing with an automated system that integrates seamlessly into existing workflows. Collaborate across university departments to identify pain points and drive transformative change. Ensure solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in results management processes within the education sector. Proven ability to navigate the complexities of data-heavy integration projects. Strong background in conducting discovery workshops and documenting pain points and opportunities. Advanced skills in process mapping and gap analysis, using tools like Visio or Lucidchart. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage and manage diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Agile practices, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and iterative delivery. Familiarity with university systems such as PeopleSoft tools and Canvas LMS. Understanding of university event management processes and systems.
