Senior Business Analyst, Disruption Recovery Lead the development of high quality, accurate analysis on customer disruptions initiatives Play a key role in our Disruption Transformation team to define requirements and determine recommendations Permanent, full-time role based at Mascot Head Office Company Description Job Description The Senior Business Analyst , Disruption Recovery will drive the identification of effective solutions, define a comprehensive set of requirements, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. You will identify areas for improvement in process, technology, and service delivery across critical Disruption service areas. You will take the lead in gathering and managing requirements, utilizing your analytical expertise to translate complex business scenarios into clear functional and technical specifications. This role requires a cross-functional approach, ensuring successful delivery of projects from inception through to implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong project delivery experience, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in requirements gathering, documentation, change management, and the implementation of system developments. Experience in testing, data analysis, and reporting will also be key to success in this role. What You'll Bring: 4+ years relevant experience in business analysis roles on projects. Transformation programs preferable Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management or equivalent experience Experience in agile project management methodologies would be preferable. Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle A strong analytical mindset, with ability to grasp complex problems quickly and lead problem solving Ability to manage risk and foresee potential roadblocks in project delivery. A background in business process or digital/technology design Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Independent, highly motivated and dynamic team member and able to demonstrate effective teamwork and accountability Ability to produce high quality documentation Strategic mindset and ability to communicate vision and priorities Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence. The ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to help steer product development to positive outcomes Why Qantas?
