With many digital transformation projects and large-scale solutions, our client is on the lookout for an eccentric and keen Salesforce Developer for current and future projects.About the role: The Senior Business Analyst (Benefits & Finance) plays a crucial role in reviewing and analysing the organisations business intentions, services, processes, and information needs to identify opportunities for improvement in large and complex programs and projects. This position collaborates with both internal and external delivery partners within the Technology & Communication Services Command. Additionally, the role is responsible for implementing and managing financial strategies, ensuring cost efficiency, and driving financial accountability and benefits across the Command. Through strategic analysis and effective stakeholder collaboration, the Senior Business Analyst (Benefits & Finance) contributes to the continuous enhancement of business operations and technology solutions.Key responsibilities will include: Enhance corporate and business systems by aligning processes with technical development and business life cycles, leveraging a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, particularly in the context of ICT services. Conduct detailed commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making, evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. Analyse and consolidate information to create business cases that support business objectives and provide effective ICT support, utilising analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and offer strategic recommendations. Design data collection and reporting tools, and apply these tools, processes and benchmarking. Experience leading the gathering and sharing of lessons learned, including capturing post implementation reviews and recommendations for improvement. Develop and implement financial management practices to optimise digital project expenditures, including identifying cost trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Gather and document user requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation. Lead the design, documentation, and development of financial requirements and functional specifications using financial models and analysis tools, ensuring alignment with business needs and financial strategies. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic objectives. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and key customers to monitor, analyse, and report project cost usage, demonstrating excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders. Conduct gap analysis of current and future financial operational processes and proactively addressing financial challenges with strong problem-solving skills. Work closely with the architecture, hosting platforms, procurement, and finance teams to ensure financial transparency and accountability, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve common goals, ensuring successful outcomes, maintaining customer satisfaction and championing business needs. The successful candidate: Manage Self - demonstrate a high level of personal motivation to achieve project outcomes.Influence and Negotiate - Identify key stakeholders and gain their support in advance. Establish a clear negotiation position based on research, a firm grasp of key issues, likely arguments, points of difference and areas for compromise.Think and Solve Problems - Undertake objective, critical analysis to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues. Able to deal with significant ambiguity and translate into more tangible outcomes.Effective Communication Skills - demonstrated ability through strong communication skills to connect with people of all levels and technical backgrounds. Ability to clearly explain the project goals as well as tasks, responsibilities, expectations, and feedback throughout the entire lifecycle.Strong Time Management and Organisational Skills - ability to prioritise and complete tasks with competing deadlines and work under pressure while managing multiple deliverables.Team Player - Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of areas across the organisation.Attention to Detail - Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.What's on offer?
